Magic Session

I’m so excited to share this Disneyland Mini Family Session with you today! When the Sweeten Family reached out about family photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about mini sessions at Disneyland. They’re not only filled with the magic of Disney but also allow families to have fun while creating lasting memories in such an iconic location.

Disneyland Mini Family Session

The Sweeten Family and I met on a chilly, foggy morning at Disneyland. The overcast skies gave the park such a cozy, whimsical vibe – perfect for capturing this sweet family’s love and connection. We first connected through TikTok, which makes this session extra special because it feels like such a full-circle moment to meet in real life and bring their vision to life! Their family is in such a beautiful season of life, and I was honored to capture their dynamic. Watching the girls’ excitement in their Belle-inspired dresses and floral Minnie Mouse ears was absolutely adorable, and Dad’s “Princess Security” shirt brought so much personality to their photos.

There were so many fun moments during our session! One of my favorites was when the youngest, full of energy and curiosity, started giggling as we tried to capture her smile. Her joy was infectious, and it reminded me of the beauty of capturing kids in their element. The Sweeten Family’s love for each other really shone through in every moment – from twirls between Mom and Dad to the little ones holding hands in front of the castle.

During the session, we made full use of the Sleeping Beauty Castle as our backdrop. One shot that stood out to me was of Dad standing proudly with his daughters, perfectly embodying his role as their protector (and biggest fan!). Another highlight was capturing individual portraits of each of the girls. Their personalities truly shone through in these shots – from confident poses to shy smiles, each photo was uniquely them. The chilly morning didn’t stop the Sweeten Family from bringing warmth to every frame.

To the Sweeten Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
