I’m so excited to share this Rain-and-Shine Session at Victoria Groves Park family session with you today! When the Trondle Family reached out about capturing their family photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about family sessions. They’re a beautiful way to celebrate each stage of life and the unique bond that makes every family so special.

A Rain-and-Shine Session at Victoria Groves Park

The Trondle Family—Michelle, Evan, Jake, and Kylie—met me at Victoria Groves Park in Rancho Cucamonga on what turned out to be one of the most dynamic weather days I’ve photographed! It was rainy and sunny at the same time, which made for an exciting and creative session. We had to pivot between capturing moments under the trees for cover and stepping into the sunlight when the clouds parted. Despite the weather surprises, the Trondles were such good sports, and it was a joy to photograph them during this fun stage of their lives. Jake and Evan are growing into young men, and Kylie is such a lively spirit with her sparkly green dress and infectious laugh—this season of life deserves to be celebrated and remembered.

One of my favorite shots from this session was of Evan lifting Jake—there was so much laughter and sibling energy, and it perfectly captured their playful dynamic. Another standout moment was Kylie twirling in her beautiful green dress, full of confidence and joy, with her family cheering her on. The light streaming through the trees made this shot feel magical! Lastly, the family group photo was so heartwarming—Michelle’s love and pride in her children were written all over her face. Victoria Groves Park provided such a scenic backdrop with its white fences, towering trees, and charming pathways, making every shot even more special.

To the Trondle Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
