I’m so excited to share this Chino mother/daughter session with you today! When the Natalia reached out about mother/daughter photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about mother/daughter sessions. They capture a unique bond that only grows deeper with time, and it’s such a joy to preserve that love through photos.
This session was extra close to my heart because Natalia is my best friend and former college roommate! Getting to photograph her and her mom, Martina, at Chino Creek Wetlands Park on a moody, overcast day was such a meaningful experience. The clouds gave us the dreamiest soft lighting, which paired beautifully with the natural greenery all around us. Natalia and Martina have such a sweet connection, full of love, laughter, and deep respect for one another—it radiated in every frame.
From twirls on the gravel path to quiet moments by the water, we captured a range of shots that showcased their relationship perfectly. One of my favorite moments was when Martina looked down at Natalia resting in her lap—it felt like such a full-circle moment of motherly love and admiration. Another standout was when they danced together under the trees—it was so spontaneous and joyful, and I loved the way the movement brought their personalities to life. We also made sure to get classic portraits of them holding hands, leaning back-to-back, and giving each other the biggest, proudest smiles.
Natalia and Martina, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You are both so sweet and I can’t wait to see you continue to grow together!
Enjoy this little peek into this sweet mother/daughter session!
See another family session here!
