I’m so excited to share this Christmas Family Session with you today! When the Banks Family reached out about their Christmas family photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about Christmas sessions. They’re filled with the warmth of the season, joyful little moments, and the perfect opportunity to capture memories that families will treasure for years to come.

Christmas Family Session

The Banks Family brought so much love and joy to their Christmas session at Serenity & Light Studio in Pomona, California. The cozy, festive backdrop—complete with garland, soft blankets, and twinkling touches—set the perfect stage for their growing family. Baby Skylar looked adorable dressed in red with a little bow, perfectly matching the holiday theme. Meanwhile, big sister Rylan, with her bright smile and sweet white bow-adorned braids, added so much personality to each shot!

This session was extra special because it marks such a beautiful stage for the Banks Family. Welcoming a new baby while celebrating the holidays made for some incredibly heartwarming moments. There was one particularly sweet moment when big sister gently held her baby sibling—it was clear how much love she already has for the newest addition to their family.

One of my favorite shots from the session was when the whole family stood together in front of the festive backdrop. Mom, wearing a stunning emerald green velvet dress, and Dad in a matching forest green shirt, looked picture-perfect. The contrast of the rich green tones against the studio’s neutral setup brought such a timeless Christmas feel to the images.

Another favorite moment was capturing Dad sitting with his eldest daughter on the wooden chair. The joy on his face as he laughed with her was priceless—such a beautiful example of the special bond between a father and his little girl.

The studio itself offered so many beautiful textures and details, like cozy knit blankets, rustic lanterns, and soft greenery, which helped create that warm and inviting holiday atmosphere. It was the perfect space to focus on the connection and joy the Banks Family shares.

To the Banks Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you all better. I can’t wait to see you continue to grow together and create even more beautiful moments.
